Opened in time for the FIFA World Cup, Nanny's BBQ is a Northwest barbecue destination at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, part of the Central Concourse Expansion by Port of Seattle. Rooted in Pacific Northwest hospitality and a multigenerational family legacy, the concept brings slow-smoked barbecue classics together with locally sourced ingredients and subtle Filipino cultural influences. Designed for one of the region's most dynamic global gateways, the space balances warmth and nostalgia with a modern, elevated dining experience tailored to the pace and performance demands of an international airport. For La Union Studio, this project marks a significant milestone as our first restaurant at an international scale, realized through close collaboration with an exceptional team of designers, engineers, and consultants.
