The Palomo Residence is taking shape! We're transforming this generational home into a modern sanctuary where sleek design meets Pacific Northwest coziness. Coastal Construction is beautifully executing our vision, which includes features like expansive windows to capture natural light and open-concept living spaces for seamless flow. This future family heirloom is designed to grow with our clients, providing a space for connection and comfort for years to come. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the anticipated completion in 2025!

The Wedgwood ADU is well underway! This project is all about creating a space that's accessible and adaptable for years to come. Innate is doing a fantastic job bringing our vision to life, which includes features like an ADA-accessible ramp, barrier-free fixtures, and a roll-in shower. We're proud to be designing a space that prioritizes multi-generational living and allows our clients to comfortably age in place. More updates to come as we look forward to unveiling the finished project in 2025!

We're thrilled to share that Marjorie Restaurant, a beloved Central District establishment, has officially reopened its doors! This exciting milestone was made possible through the Business Community Ownership Fund (BCO Fund), a program designed to support BIPOC-owned businesses and create pathways to ownership.
La Union Studio is proud to have been the first project completed through the BCO Fund, and we're excited to see Marjorie's as the second business to benefit from this impactful program! As highlighted in the recent article from Mayor Harrell's office, the BCO Fund is making a real difference in our community by helping businesses like Marjorie's thrive.
We encourage you to read the full article to learn more about Marjorie's journey and the positive impact of the BCO Fund. It's a testament to the power of community collaboration and investment in creating a more equitable and vibrant Seattle.

We were honored to attend African Community Housing & Development's (ACHD) inaugural event, “A Journey Home,” at the Grand Hyatt Seattle last month. This inspiring luncheon celebrated the resilience of our African Diaspora immigrant and refugee community while raising funds for economic empowerment. We were moved by the powerful stories and sense of unity, and we're proud to support ACHD's mission to uplift and support this vital community.

I recommend La Union Studio all the time. They are easy to work with, it felt like a collaboration the entire time, they listen to your wants and desires and really do a great job of incorporating them as well as their own styles to make it incredible.

Sergio and Sonia are a perfect balance of accessible and professional, of community-based and institutionally-connected. They can help bridge the often totally disparate worlds of small business and commercial development. Their design solutions to complicated problems are intuitive and straightforward.
Matthew Richter, Interim Executive Director, Cultural Space Agency
La Union Studio has helped us connect with people from the community that we were not in connection with before this project, which allowed more people to know Chebogz's story and legacy. They also have your back when issues rise and they do it in a way that doesn't scare the clients. They care!

With Sergio and Sonia, you get two people who are insanely intelligent, incredibly creative, but also really patient. I really appreciate their ability to stick to a timeline, to meet deadlines, to continue to push and to reach a vision.
